Starting Turtle Island

The purchase of Turtle Island was very important to Eustace. It finally provided Eustace with the chance to show people the way he lives and how it is important to know how the world functions. Eustace becomes more relaxed after creating Turtle Island because he knows that his dream is finally coming true. However, Eustace also is very distressed when he had to pay off his father for the loan he took out. Eustace wants the future generations to understand the earth. He wants people to know that you cannot be too greedy because more people are going to eventually walk where you are walking. He wants people to love the earth for the way it is and not use up all of the resources that are naturally available to humans.

Great Post Abbey!
While i don't agree with the fact that it is at first relaxing to him because of his constant traveling and working to make it succeed and he doesn't have time to relax yet, i do agree with the latter half of your post. I totally agree with the fact that his reason for teaching kids nature is that they don't understand that others have to use the same earth as them. They think they can be greedy like when they are tasting something.
Good job Abbey!

Hey Abbey, I think this post was pretty good in summing up how Eustace felt. He totally wanted to show people money is not the cool thing to have, Nature is straight up tight to him. He wanted to preach to everyone not to be greedy, and to look around themselves, and to respect the beauty of nature and life itself. I think that Eustace liked to work, and liked to present his ideas and thoughts to the other people, so unlike abbey m, i agree with you that he was relaxed and was just chilling. He enjoyed what he did. But all this in my opinion.

by the way, I like Abbey's words of encouragement. GOOD JOB ABBEY!
